Our suggestion

How to prepare

IBPS publishes no interview syllabus. This is general guidance, not an official list.

  • Your IT subjects. Revise the subjects of your Mains, starting with the ones from your degree: you may be asked to explain a concept, not just name it. Professional Knowledge subjects
  • Your project and work. Be ready to explain your final-year project, internship or job: what it did, the technology, and your own part in it.
  • Banking technology. Know how the bank you’d join uses IT: core banking, digital payments, and cyber security.
  • Current banking news. Read the main banking and RBI news of the last few months.
  • Documents early. Caste, EWS, disability and No Objection certificates can take weeks; get them in the format the notification asks for, with self-attested photocopies.
