ITOfficerPrep (itofficerprep.in) is an independent exam preparation website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), any participating bank or any government organisation.
Names such as “IBPS SO IT Officer” are used only to say which exam a page is about. Applications, call letters, results and official notices are only on ibps.in.
How we check exam facts
The exam pattern, marking, selection process and eligibility on this site are taken from the official IBPS documents for CRP SPL-XVI. Each block of facts shows its source, linked to the PDF on ibps.in, and the pages show the date the facts were last checked (currently 28 October 2026). The documents we use are:

We do not add facts that are not in these documents.
Accuracy
We check every fact against the official PDF, but mistakes are possible, and IBPS can change details at any time through corrigenda or new notices. Dates published by IBPS are tentative. Always confirm on ibps.in before you apply, pay a fee or plan your preparation. If the official notification and this site differ, the official notification is correct.
The IT Professional Knowledge topic list on the syllabus page is not official: IBPS publishes no topic-wise syllabus. It is based on previous memory-based papers and coaching-site syllabi, and a new paper can differ.
