Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

Last updated 28 October 2026

Who we are

This policy covers ITOfficerPrep (itofficerprep.in) only. Our sister sites, IBPSPrep and AgriPrep, are separate websites with their own policies.

What we collect today

At present the site has no accounts, sign-up or contact forms, so we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. We do not set cookies of our own; Google Analytics sets its own cookies, described below.

Like every website, our web server and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, record technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it only to keep the site secure and to fix problems.

Services that load with our pages

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) serves the fonts.
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare) serves the icons.
  • Cloudflare delivers the whole site.
  • Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com) loads a few seconds after each page; details below.

Your browser contacts these services directly, so they receive your IP address and browser details, under their own privacy policies.

We also use:

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) helps us see how the site is used. It records the pages you view, how long you stay, the page or site you came from, your device, browser and screen size, and your approximate location (city or region, worked out from your IP address). It sets its own cookies on itofficerprep.in (_ga and _ga_…) to tell repeat visits apart. We see only totals and trends, not who you are. Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

When accounts open

Log in, the dashboard, mock tests and topic quizzes are not open yet. When they open:

  • Google sign-in. You will sign in with your Google account. Google then shares your basic profile with us (your name and email address). We never see or store your Google password.
  • Your progress. We will store your test attempts, answers and scores so you can follow your preparation.
  • A login cookie. A cookie will keep you signed in on itofficerprep.in only.

This page will be updated with the full details before login opens.

Separate accounts on each site

ITOfficerPrep, IBPSPrep and AgriPrep each have their own accounts, progress and purchases. Signing in on one site does not sign you in on another, the login cookie works only on the site that set it, and we do not share your data between the sites.

What we never do

  • We never sell your data.
  • We never share it for other companies’ advertising.

Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics on every site, you can use Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Once accounts exist, you can ask us to show you or delete your account and data through the Contact page.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
